Transits and RetrogradeTransits and Retrograde

How does it Affects the 12 Signs of Zodiac

Once a planet is in its retrograde motion, it means that that planet was making an apparent backward motion at the time of birth. Planet never moves backward while the Sun and Moon never retrograde. The energy of retrograde planet is expressed more on its inner level. While there are times that individual finds it difficult expressing the energy outwardly.

On the other hand, transits in astrology are one of the mean means used in horoscope reading to forecast future events and developments. It involves a method of interpreting the ongoing movement of the planets as they transit the horoscope. Most often it is done for birth chart reading of a particular individual.

Planets play a very important role in determining the trait of a person through his/her horoscope signs. Each of the planets is the sister of the Earth in which we live in such as Mercury, Venus, Mars, Jupiter, Uranus, Neptune and Pluto. Sun and the Moon are also considered as sister of the Earth even if neither of the two is planets. However, both the Sun and the Moon follow the same path as the planets making them included in the listing of planets.

Astrology signs are best method to correspond to the changing and recurring patterns of energy that we all experience as we go all the way through life. The basis of the horoscope and the meaning of the figures used in earliest times are one of the huge unknown basis in corresponding to a variety of the star groups of the constellations.

There are twelve astrology signs named for constellations. They are set in the region of the outer ring of the chart in a horoscope. While the planets are on the revolving zodiac ring within the ring of signs wherein once it turns, the planets turn in motion all the way through each of the astrology signs in the course of one year. These astrology or horoscope signs are the Aries, Taurus, Gemini, Cancer, Leo, Virgo, Libra, Scorpio, Sagittarius, Capricorn, Aquarius, and Pisces.

The best known of all retrogrades is the Mercury. Its retrograde motion affects the communication in planet’s pull. Individuals may find their message better conveyed through another less familiar whenever Mercury is in its retrograde motion. Messages carried by the retrograde may be misunderstood or whispers may be overheard and mail or email may be misdirected. While it is a good time for zodiac signs under this retrograde motion to explore new outlets of communication but it still advisable for them to choose their words carefully.

The patterns created by each planet help us determine our days, years and seasons. It is possible to chart the movement of the planets but still the different combination that can be created by the planets placements are almost infinite. The specific alignment of the planets is the ones used by astrologers to give each individual a unique birth chart. But there are cases where two individuals are born at the same exact moment which is the so-called twins.

You must appreciate good aspects a planet adds to your personality while trying to avoid any negative aspects with which you may have to deal. The planets may have a strong influence in you but it all still depends on you what you want to do with your life.

One thing I just found out which totally took me by surprise, is that not only did Mars Retrograde start on March 1st, but Saturn Retrograde started on March 2nd! Ahh!!! What is happening?!

Mars Retrograde

Transits and RetrogradeMarch 1st to May 19th – 2014

Mars is in the house of Libra, and so essentially like doing cosmic mathematics, you can fractal that planet with the vibration of what libra represents, and you can look and see your reflection in that coupling.

Libra is all about balance. It’s not so much the specific trait but the characteristics and energy of balance. The scales are meant to represent not only weight, but value. Recognizing what you value going through Mars Retrograde is a symbol to recognize deeper, emotional meaning behind your male-driven actions.

I know a lot of people think astrology is woo. Perhaps you do as well. Perhaps you’re on the other side of the coin and you use the horoscope daily to guide your life. I know the feeling, on both sides.

Lets take both of those opposites and put them in the middle. There is value in finding reflection in the vast, infinite cosmos that we are a part of. There is also value in realizing that being in awe of the cosmos is not going to pay your bills or get you that date. We can recognize our connections to everything, and be the active creator in our own lives on a regular basis too. That’s what Mars Retrograde is all about.

Saturn Retrograde

Transits and Retrograde

March 2nd to July 20th – 2014

Saturn is typically related to have a meaning of judgement, containment, and control… but not necessarily in a bad way. It’s also the ruler of righteousness, of purity, of good will and intent. It is when the containment, the control and the judgement are made with awareness that an ultimate space is created for growth, maturity and transformation.

It’s when these rules are made without any awareness of the bigger picture that we have problems, and that’s where a lot of our problems lie today.

Saturn Retrograde is all about letting those old walls wash away, and to see everything from a bigger picture. Remember, Containment without Restriction is where all of the growth happens. For example, having a tiny pot to grow a big tree in wont work. It’s too restricting.

Now the seedling contained in the small pot temporarily to keep it safe as it grows up, that’s containment without restriction, as long as when the time comes to transition, the transition is actually made.

It’s all about the geometric structure of the reality around you. Time, Schedules, Order, Law, look at all of them, ask questions about why they are the way they are. Perhaps with your inspiration, we can change it into something else.
